Indian Government decides to demonetize ₹500 and ₹1000 notes? Will it help in curbing black money?

Let us see what will happen due to this move -

  1. Black money holders are now helpless. They’ll be having crores of black money. That money would be in 500 and 1000 denomination. How would they deposit it in bank?
  2. Fake currency will be eradicated up to some extent.
  3. Corruption will decrease. How?
Let’s suppose you want to have a transaction of 10 00,000 rs. If you do in 1000 denomination, you’ll need 100 notes. But if you do in 100 denomination, you’ll need 1000 notes. Hence, you’ll need to go digital!

  4. Indirectly, Terrorism will decrease too, as the terrorist funding will decrease.
  5. Unknown sources of funding during elections will be limited.

There’s also been news that new 500 rs and 2000 Rs note will be out.

In my opinion, this too is a great move and it’s related to the abashment of 500&1000 denomination. How?

These new 500 & 2000 denomination are not just a piece of paper. There is much more in this note.

The currency is designed keeping in mind to eradicate the black money issues using state of the art indigenous nano technology, every Rs. 2000 currency note is embedded with a NGC (Nano GPS Chip)

How the embeded NGC Technology Works?
